Clarksville Gas and Water Department plans Cumberland Terrace water outage, road closure for water valve replacement
Low water pressure possible for vicinity
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) has planned a water outage on Thursday, June 8th, 2023 at 8:00am on Cumberland Terrace and on North Second Street from Cumberland Terrace to Beech Drive for water valve replacement.
Low water pressure may also affect the vicinity during the work.
Cumberland Terrace will be closed and traffic will be detoured to North Second Street and Tennessee Avenue to avoid the work zone. Motorists are asked to slow down and be alert to utility workers and their equipment.
The water valve replacement is anticipated to be finished, the water service restored and the road reopened by approximately 3:30pm.
