Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) September 26, 2017 -- Uniweld released a new video on Uniweld.com and YouTube that explains how to repair a 2-valve brass manifold. Before leaving the factory, all Uniweld manifolds are calibrated and must pass a quality control pressure test to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Quality Tools That Go To Work With You®
Sales Executive for Uniweld, Matt Foster, explains in the video how to maintain the manifold and keep it as accurate and reliable as when it left the factory. Uniweld’s 2-valve brass manifolds have a valve stem assembly with a Teflon® seat and a Teflon® packing washer. Teflon® is an extremely durable material and is compatible with all refrigerants and lubricants used in the HVAC and refrigeration industry. The manifold is an important diagnostic tool that an HVAC/R technician will use daily and after extensive use of the manifold, it may be necessary to replace the Teflon® seats and packing washers. The video gives clear step by step instructions on how to replace these components.
There are two options to perform this repair. The Uniweld QA200A is a full valve assembly that quickly and easily replaces one of the old assemblies. The second option, Uniweld’s QVK-2 rebuild kit comes with 2 Teflon® seats and 2 Teflon® packing washers and allows for the repair of both the high and low side valve stem assemblies. Matt explains every step of the short repair process, and makes it easy for anyone to follow along. Always be prepared when on the job, stop by a local Uniweld distributor and pick up a manifold repair kit today.
